in DataFor 15 weeks, the student journalists at Quinnipiac's Sports Journalism and Media M.S. program learn the foundations of design and analytics to report out stories backed by data.
From pitch to publication, the journalists of JRN563 conceptualized the story they want to tell, searched for the data to back up their hypothesis, and then learned how to process data and visualize it using tools like Datawrapper, Flourish and other interactive tools for their intended audience.
